In ForestHQ, activity or operation is defined as a project containing the information of any given forestry activity (harvesting, measurement, valuation, planting, etc). In ForestHQ, activities are defined by a spatial boundary and a duration in time. The user can create an activity manually in the user interface or import SHP files containing multiple activities.

This option should be used if you do not have an SHP or Excel (XLS/CSV) file with compartment and sub-compartments names for your activity. Here you can manually select the sub-compartments for each activity.

This option should be used if you have an SHP or Excel (XLS/CSV) file with compartment and sub-compartments names for your activity. This import tool allows the user to create many activities at once.
