ForestHQ facilitates the import of inventory data, analysis and the view of the results in a interactive dashboard, where the user can filter and query the data.
Watch this video to learn the steps to upload and display your own inventory data
The Inventory dashboard only display data that has been imported using the Import Tool.
Note that this dashboard is not compatible with the use of ForestHQ Inventory App.
After importing inventory data, the inventory information is available in the dashboard section, under the Inventor Section.
For each operation, the inventory data is displayed in this dynamic dashboard.
A overall summary with the main inventory variables is displayed.
Data can be displayed by species or as a combined figure.
DISTRIBUTION CHART
Data can be displayed in a distribution map. 3 options are available:
DBH distribution chart
Volume distribution chart
Height distribution chart
Several filters are available, including species, year (if more than one), subcompartment or stratum and a defined range for DBH/Volume or Height.
ForestHQ provides an automated log products breakdown and tools to create your own forest valuation.
Log products breakdown. The log products breakdown is provided by default cutting instructions for each species.
If you have local taper equations and cutting instructions, we can make your valuation more accurate. To implement your local taper equations and cutting instructions please contact support@treemetrics.com
Products downgrade. The products are estimated by taper equation models for each species. Because the reality is not perfect and there are always quality issues and losses, we recommend downgrading your product depending on your forest quality.
A guide can be using a 10% downgrade for "normal" conditions and increase this amount if you notice that some of your trees are swept or they have bends or other defects that may affect your timber quality.
Pricing schemes. Different price schemes can be added. Each scheme has a price for each product. Different schemes may represent the different prices in the market, for example, prices offer by different mills, prices for export, etc.
